Hello, dear patron, I hope you are doing well. If you are interested in designing PNG tubers, or just have fun coming up with avatar characters that can spice up videos, then I think this tutorial will be entertaining and helpful!
This first part focuses on animating in Clip Studio Paint and then exporting into an animated PNG file Note that I did use Aseprite for the actual artwork and then used Clip Studio Paint for the animation. Aseprite does not currently export into an animated PNG format.
In this case I based the pixel art avatar on a Fire Emblem 7 and Fire Emblem 8 character portrait Style. I improvised with the hand in the ‘Smug’ or gleaming glasses pose since that style normally doesn’t include any hands whatsoever.
